The Hands-On Training for the VRP4Youth project was successfully completed in Ankara, Turkey between 7-11 October 2024. During one week, 25 young participants from Sweden, Italy, Portugal and Turkey gained hands-on experience in Virtual Reality (VR) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) and improved their basic technical skills.
Highlights of the Training Program
Collaborative Learning: Participants worked in diverse teams to develop innovative applications using VR and RP technologies.
Expert Presentations: Industry experts and academics shared insights on the latest trends and technologies in 3D printing and VR development.
Hands-On Sessions: Participants engaged in practical workshops where they explored VR environments, rapid prototyping techniques, and created prototypes using modern equipment.
Cultural Exchange and Social Activities: Cultural events and campus tours fostered friendships among participants, promoting intercultural connections beyond technical training.
This enriching experience not only enhanced the participants’ technical abilities but also promoted valuable intercultural collaboration and teamwork.
